How do I install a plugin?
In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the .zip file you downloaded, click Install Now, then Activate. Each product guide above has a step-by-step quick start.
Where is my license key, and how do I activate it?
Your key is emailed to you right after purchase and is always available in your customer portal. Paste it into the plugin’s License screen and save. The plugin confirms activation and starts receiving automatic updates. A key activates the plugin on the number of sites your license allows.
How does support work?
If you’re on an annual or monthly plan, email support is included for as long as your plan is active. If you bought a lifetime license, email support is included for as long as we offer the product. Support is not metered: there is no allowance to track and nothing to buy. Either way, open a ticket on our Support page or from your customer portal.
Running the free edition of a product that also has a paid edition? Write in anyway. That free edition comes with no support term, so an answer is a courtesy rather than something you have bought, but I do not turn people away.
Support for lifetime licenses
A lifetime license has no recurring payment, so its support is not metered. We do not run a credit system. Pre-sales questions, feature requests, bug reports, and billing questions are always free. What we answer is questions about our own software, from the person the license belongs to. Bodholdt Labs is one person, so there is a limit to how much any one account can be given. If what you need ever passes that, we will tell you before anything changes, and we will be straight with you about what we can and cannot keep doing. This applies to every Bodholdt Labs product sold with a lifetime license.
What’s your refund policy?
The first payment for each license has a 14-day, no-questions-asked money-back guarantee. Open a ticket on our Support page using the email you bought with.
How do updates work?
Once your license key is active, updates appear in your WordPress dashboard like any other plugin. You get bug fixes, security patches, new-WordPress/PHP compatibility, and new features. Subscriptions update while active, and lifetime licenses update for the supported lifetime of the product. Bodholdt Atelier is the exception: its updates keep arriving after its license lapses, on any site where its key is entered.
Is my data private?
Mostly yes. Our plugins run on your own site and connect only to services you authorize, with one exception: each one talks to bodholdtlabs.com to get updates, and a paid plugin also checks its license there. Those requests carry your site’s address, and a paid plugin’s license check also carries your license key. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what each plugin does with data.
